Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team! In this role, you will craft drinks, deliver welcoming customer service, and create a nice social atmosphere for our guests. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure a positive experience from order to completion
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage POS systems such as Squarefor accurate order processing and cash handling
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy through retail math skills and basic math proficiency
• Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying IDs and adhering to alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery
• Demonstrate knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in all aspects of beverage service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred; restaurant experience is highly valued
• Familiarity with Square POS for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and handle diverse situations professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize multiple orders
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and inventory management
• Must be at least 18 years old (or as per local regulations) with Jackson County food handling certifications and liquor permit
