Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling practices.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment's schedule.
• Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws and regulations.
