Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and retail math is a plus.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• A valid food handling certification may be required based on local regulations.
