Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring responsible serving practices are followed at all times.
  • Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering, banquet, or nightclub events to deliver seamless service.

Skills

  • Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; hospitality background preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using strong time management skills.
  • Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in diverse settings like nightclubs or catering events.
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing cocktails, and beer pouring; retail math skills are a plus.
