Bartender

Silo Falls is seeking experienced (2+ years) bartenders for both our upscale casual dining restaurant and banquet events held on our beautiful venue in the heart of Brookeville, Maryland.

Silo Falls is a chic, rustic-style venue in Brookeville, Maryland. The dairy farm turned restaurant, bar and venue has become the beloved meeting grounds for locals, event-goers and travelers from across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C

This is a full or part time position that requires availability during evenings, weekends and holidays. Staff must have a flexible schedule and be available to work both restaurant and event/banquet shifts when needed.

Our ideal bartender:

• Greets every guest with a smile, going above and beyond to give a +1 dining experience
• Displays excellent team work while working with fellow servers, bartenders, hosts and support staff. Examples include: Running food, bussing/resetting tables, answering phones when needed, and moving/organizing rooms being used for banquet events
• Retains and develops knowledge of our various food and drink offerings
• Upsells both food and beverages, walking guests through the menu and giving recommendations based on their preferences
• Adheres to restaurant uniform and cleanliness standards daily
• Has experience ringing in food and beverage on a POS terminal or handheld device
• Comes to work everyday with an open-mind, positive attitude, and the desire to make someone's day.
• Is at least 18 years of age

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.56 per hour
