Bartender

Overview
Join our team as a Bartender, where your energy and passion for exceptional service will create memorable experiences for our guests. We are a small, family-owned authentic Italian winery and we are gearing up for a busy season! This position is primarily weekends, with events providing possible evening or weeknight shifts. A big part of this role is ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Whether you're working a beautiful day at the winery or bartending for one of our events, you will be the heart of the social experience, delivering top-tier customer service while balancing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems to process orders swiftly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
• Handle cash transactions with precision
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies
• Assist in set up and tear down for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all beverage needs are met seamlessly
• Help ensure our grounds stay clean and presentable

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory purposes
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations preferred but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
