Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol serving policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during events like banquets or catering functions.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to balance multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining high service standards.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies, restocking bar stations, and minimizing waste.
  • Contribute to a lively atmosphere by understanding the needs of diverse clientele, including those in nightclubs or special events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol serving policies.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and tab calculations.
  • Experience in food industry roles including serving, catering, or food handling is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of brewing processes or hospitality industry standards enhances your fit for this role.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Pay: $21.17 - $25.49 per hour
