Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure smooth service flow.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and adhering to legal regulations.
• Assist in training new team members on proper serving techniques, POS operation, and customer service expectations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Clover POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
• Experience working with diverse clientele in hospitality settings like brewing establishments or catering events is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate order processing and billing.
