Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using TOAST POS System
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders to prevent shortages during busy shifts.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or food service environments; banquet experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST; previous cashiering or retail math experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
- Demonstrated ability in sales techniques and customer service excellence to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management.
- Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with brewing or catering services is beneficial.
