Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using TOAST POS System
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders to prevent shortages during busy shifts.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or food service environments; banquet experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST; previous cashiering or retail math experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques and customer service excellence to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management.
• Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with brewing or catering services is beneficial.
