Job Overview

Augie’s Restaurant is seeking a passionate and skilled Craft Cocktail Bartender to join our team. This role requires a talented mixologist with a deep understanding of flavor profiles, spirits, and cocktail craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience through well-balanced, innovative, and classic cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Serve high-quality craft cocktails, ensuring consistency and excellence in presentation and taste.
• Develop seasonal cocktail menus in collaboration with the bar team, incorporating fresh, house-made ingredients.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of spirits, bitters, syrups, infusions, and mixology techniques.
• Engage with guests in a warm and welcoming manner, providing recommendations and education on drinks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, following all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking bar supplies.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure cocktail pairings enhance the overall dining experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a craft cocktail bartender or mixologist in a high-volume or craft cocktail-focused bar or restaurant.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and cocktail history.
• Strong understanding of balance and flavor profiles in cocktails.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and hospitality skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
• TIPS or ServSafe certification preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
