The Role

As an Event Bartender with ETA, you are responsible for delivering high-quality, polished, and efficient beverage service at a wide range of events including weddings, private parties, engagement dinners, bachelorette events, corporate functions, and more.

You are not just making drinks — you are shaping the guest experience at the bar. You set the tone, manage flow, engage guests, and ensure every interaction feels professional, warm, and intentional.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the bar quickly and efficiently
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails with speed and precision
• Engage with guests warmly while maintaining smooth service flow
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area throughout the event
• Communicate clearly with event coordinators and fellow staff
• Stay at your station at all times — never leave the bar unattended
• Adapt quickly to event needs and client preferences
• Execute classic and modern cocktails confidently, including custom or event-specific menus
• Monitor guest consumption and uphold responsible alcohol service standards
• Represent ETA’s brand with professionalism, energy, and care

Requirements

• Prior event bartending experience (weddings, private parties, corporate events) OR high-end or high-volume bar environments (upscale restaurants, lounges, hotels, private clubs, or similar)
• Must be confident, fast, and focused on customer service
• Ability to multitask and handle high-volume, custom drink requests
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Punctual, dependable, and proactive
• Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation
• Able to lift and carry bar supplies and equipment
• Understand the importance of staying present at the bar — walking away without coverage is NOT acceptable
• Experience in private clubs, hotels, golf clubs, catering halls, wedding venues, or upscale restaurants is highly valued.

Experience only in casual chain restaurants or basic bar environments is generally not sufficient for this role.
