Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service experiences
• Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety compliance
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender for at least 6 months is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Experience in food handling, serving, catering, or retail math is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in hospitality or food industry is highly desirable
