Job Summary

Emma Rue’s is a luxe café and cocktail bar in the heart of downtown Spokane serving craft cocktails, decadent desserts, and espresso in an opulent yet welcoming setting. Inspired by the eclectic elegance of the European art deco era, Emma Rue’s is a place where connection, creativity, and hospitality come together to create an exceptional guest experience.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for all things crafted and a natural drive to create unique personal connections for all guests. This role is so much more than bartending. You would design and deliver craft cocktails, create a warm and inviting atmosphere, extend exceptional and radical hospitality to all guests, serve third wave espresso and assist with serving our food and dessert program.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Craft high quality cocktails and coffee beverages with precision
• Typical prep work such as stocking glassware, filling ice wells, juice fruit, making custom syrups and spirit infusions, etc.
• Plate desserts and food and deliver to guests
• Bring creative ideas for cocktail beverages
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of both the bar and customer areas

Guest Experience

• Ensure a consistently warm, polished, and welcoming guest experience
• Be willing to move between floor hosting and bartending during service
• Help maintain Emma Rue’s signature balance of luxury and approachability
• Help maintain Standard Operating Procedures

Desired Experience

• 2+ years of bartending experience
• Experience in craft cocktail or café environments preferred
• Strong service background with a hospitality-first mindset
• Experience working on a manual espresso machine preferred
• Able to work independently and take initiviate
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.13 per hour
