Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The bartender will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons, whether in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet event.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties accurately during shifts.
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food orders related to beverage service or catering events.
- Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions when required.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
- Uphold the standards of the establishment’s brand by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Micros POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining guest safety standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles is highly desirable.

- Pay Range: $10/hr-$12/hr + tips
