We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer, enjoy making craft cocktails, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Engage with customers, providing friendly service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
  • Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS system
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service, especially during events such as banquets or catering services.
  • Prepare bar and seating areas for events in a timely manner
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies.
  • Promote upcoming brewery events and initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bartending is required.
  • Cicerone Beer Server certification is a plus
  • Sunday availability is required. You won't have to work every Sunday, but we're looking for 2-3 per month, along with other day or night shifts.
  • Experience with Toast POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests and inform them about events and special offers
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Willingness to take direction
