Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and balance registers at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events, ensuring smooth coordination during busy hours or special functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws; prior nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
