Bartender

Lakewood Yacht Club is seeking a professional, service-driven Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service across multiple service areas, including the main bar, banquet events, and outdoor pool bar. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high service standards, and creates a welcoming, member-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards
• Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to members and guests
• Operate efficiently across multiple service areas, including main bar, banquet bar, and pool bar
• Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, classic cocktails, wine, and beer offerings
• Ensure bars are properly stocked, organized, and clean at all times
• Set up and break down bar areas for daily service and special events
• Follow all TABC and safety regulations regarding alcohol service
• Accurately handle tabs, and POS transactions
• Assist with wine service and large-scale banquet functions as needed
• Work closely with management and team members to ensure smooth service flow
• Monitor guest consumption and promote responsible alcohol service
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required (private club or high-volume environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• TABC certification required (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work both indoor and outdoor environments, including heat at the pool bar
  
  

Salary: $7.00 per hour
