Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming environment and promote sales.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light bites during busy hours or catering events.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, perform basic math calculations for change, and reconcile cash drawers at shift end.
- Support catering or banquet events by setting up bar stations, serving drinks at large functions, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of customer service in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, brewing techniques, and industry trends to enhance guest offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that encourages repeat visits.
- Experience working with diverse beverage menus including brewing techniques or specialty cocktails is a plus.
