Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS accurately for order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours by utilizing excellent time management skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or late-night settings.
• Assist in training new team members on proper serving techniques, POS systems, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using strong organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including retail math concepts related to sales and tipping.
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment is advantageous; retail math knowledge is a plus.
