Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast to process orders accurately and swiftly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy.
- Assist in food service operations when needed, including serving food items during banquets or catering events.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs proactively to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such asToast is essential for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and accurate billing.
- Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for daily operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or restaurants.
