Bartender

Job Summary

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions and measuring drink ingredients.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus, along with any catering experience.
