Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
• Support catering, banquet events, or nightclub operations by serving drinks promptly and professionally.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest IDs to promote a safe environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to perform retail math, cash handling, and basic math accurately.
• Previous banquet experience or catering background is a plus.
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector preferred; brewing or retail math knowledge is advantageous.
