Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, especially during catering or banquet events.
• Uphold all food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions, sales tracking, and inventory management.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations; certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred.
