Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to a lively atmosphere where patrons feel welcomed and valued. Whether working in a bustling nightclub, elegant restaurant, or lively banquet setting, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drink pairings or specials
  • Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth sales processing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and promoting a safe environment for all patrons
  • Assist with food service when needed by serving snacks or light bites during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak times at nightclubs or large events

Skills

  • Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate sales processing and cash handling
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising quality or safety standards
  • Knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and alcohol laws to serve responsibly and confidently
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients precisely
  • Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering functions is a plus
