Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Toast to process orders accurately and swiftly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering, banquet events, or food service to coordinate orders
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service laws
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours in nightclubs or restaurant settings
• Uphold food handling standards and ensure all beverages meet quality expectations

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Experience in fine dining environments or upscale venues is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring drink ingredients
• Previous experience in nightclub, banquet, or catering settings is a plus
• Familiarity with brewing techniques or the food industry enhances your versatility as a bartender
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events in hospitality settings
