Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen ability to create memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and food safety practices to ensure high-quality service.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events to ensure smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or related hospitality roles is preferred.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Knowledge of brewing processes is a plus for crafting specialty drinks.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
