Job Description:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. In a hospitality environment, this role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests
- Engage with guests, take orders accurately, and make recommendations when appropriate
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash and transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware
- Ensure proper setup and closing of the bar, including restocking and preparation for service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and requisitions
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and responsible service of beverage regulations
- Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of beverage preparation
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and upselling skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
