Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and promoting a safe environment.
  • Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages promptly to keep service seamless during busy hours.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for catering events or banquet services, supporting food handling and serving duties as needed.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within fine dining or nightclub settings.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible serving practices.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
  • Experience in catering or banquet environments is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different food industry settings. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
