Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling protocols.
• Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring a safe environment in compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies promptly, track inventory levels, and assist with catering or banquet setups as needed.
• Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and event coordinators during food service or catering events to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
• Basic math skills including retail math for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or mixing cocktails; experience in retail math is a plus.
