Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies promptly during shifts, managing inventory levels effectively through proper record keeping.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; previous retail math or food industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; excellent cash handling skills required.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and inventory management.
• Experience with serving at catering events or in hospitality environments such as brewing or food service establishments is highly desirable.
