Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and cash handling transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods by utilizing excellent time management skills.
• Assist in setting up bar stations for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food and beverages seamlessly during high-volume service times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing their orders accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to handle food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures confidently.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed.
• Familiarity with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling, and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of the food industry standards related to brewing, serving alcohol responsibly, and maintaining a safe environment for all patrons.
