Position: Bartender

Job Classification: Part-Time, Year-Round

Reports to: Owners

Pay Rate: $8/hour + tips

Job Description:

The bartender will represent Lindgren Craft Brewery and be the interface to customers. Selling Lindgren Craft Brews, making cocktails and selling PA wines, spirits and food from our craft kitchen.

Job Qualifications:

High-energy, detail-oriented person needed for this rewarding position. Must have pleasant personality, be self-motivated, and the ability to communicate well. Beer knowledge is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers, take orders, serve drinks
• Asses customer needs and preferences, discuss beers, and make recommendations
• Make and serve cocktails
• Check ID to confirm legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Focus and nurture an unforgettable experience

Requirements

• RAMP certified or willing to become certified
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must be able to start weekday shifts at 3:30 pm; weekend shifts at 10:30 am
• Positive attitude
• Strong communication skills; must be able to initiate conversations and keep conversation interesting
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment handling drink orders, food orders, phone orders
• Deescalate situations as necessary; be able to tastefully address a customer who has had too much to drink without causing conflict.

Established in 2018, the Lindgren father and son team began brewing great tasting beer rooted in community, agriculture, and adventure.
