Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and ensure an outstanding customer experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Process cash transactions efficiently while balancing registers at shift end
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to support food service operations during busy periods or special events like banquets and catering functions

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or hospitality settings
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST POS and Micros POS for order entry and cash handling
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions and inventory management
• Experience with beverage presentation techniques and cocktail artistry
• Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required
