Position Summary:

Fat Tuesday at Baytowne Wharf is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Lead team members to serve our famous frozen cocktails and a limited food menu. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks and food items, and ensuring a fun and inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations.
• Drink and Food Preparation:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of frozen cocktails according to established recipes and standards.
  • Serve food items from our limited menu, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar and dining areas.
• Operations:
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper cash handling procedures.
  • Restock supplies and inventory as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and setting up for the next day.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a busy, high-energy environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
