Bartender/ Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Barista to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
• Assist in food service operations when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events
• Engage with customers to create a positive experience, promote sales, and encourage repeat business
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple customers promptly
• Uphold all health and safety regulations related to the food industry and hospitality standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage guests professionally
• Experience in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or catering settings is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
• Ability to work night shifts or weekends as required in hospitality settings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is desirable
• Passion for the food industry with a friendly attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
