Bartender & Cashier (Friday & Saturday night)

Le Belleair Café, a French bakery renowned for its commitment to excellence and elevated guest experience, is seeking a dedicated and personable Bartender & Cashier to join our team. This role requires a professional who can craft high-quality beverages while delivering seamless, attentive service at the register.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring consistency and quality in every order.
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the cash register and POS system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and offering thoughtful recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and front-of-house areas, including cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring a polished presentation at all times.
• Ensure the dining area remains clean and inviting by clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining overall order.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking bar ingredients and service items.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to maintain product quality and a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender and/or cashier is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and engaging demeanor.
• Experience handling cash transactions and operating a POS system (Toast experience is a plus).
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
