Located in Mineral, Virginia, Cutalong at Tributer Resort spans 1,000 acres bordering Lake Anna and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia. The development plan includes 900 residential entitlements, featuring estate homes and homesites, executive homesites, cottages, villas, townhomes and luxury condominium accommodations. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club.

Position Overview:

Our food and beverage team at Cutalong at Tributer Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to guests in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring compliance with all beverage and alcohol regulations. A successful candidate will bring energy, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality to every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide friendly and attentive service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware
• Check identification to verify legal age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Process transactions using POS system; handle cash and credit card payments accurately
• Stay updated on menu items, promotions, and specials
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and procedures
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service
• Uphold a positive and energetic atmosphere at the bar

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proven experience as a craft bartender preferred (1+ years ideal)
• BarSmarts certification highly desirable
• State alcohol card required
• Knowledge of popular cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
