Bartender for a Craft Bar

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage Toast POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to legal alcohol service regulations
• Responsible Vendor Card is REQUIRED; no exceptions
• Collaborate with team members during busy nights to deliver seamless service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a craft bar or fine dining setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Toast POS; strong cash handling skills
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests positively
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and accurate order calculations
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment; retail math proficiency is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events such as Mardi Gras.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
