FRANCIS HALL BARTENDER
Reports to Restaurant GM; non-exempt position
Play an integral part of a team of hospitality professionals in our gorgeous, historic building. As a part of our guest facing colleagues, you will collaborate with culinary, front of house, and leadership to provide memorable “unreasonable hospitality” for our translocal guests. Work in a respectful and progressive environment that values what people bring to the team and encourages everyone to participate in the process.

Key Responsibilities
- Craft and present innovative, high-quality cocktails with precision and consistency
- Curate seasonal and signature drink menus using premium spirits, fresh ingredients, and modern techniques
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, anticipating needs and maintaining a polished presence
- Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wines, liqueurs, and cocktail trends
- Execute classic cocktails to exact standards while incorporating contemporary mixology techniques
- Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering and cost control
- Engage guests with professionalism, storytelling, and product knowledge to enhance their experience
- Collaborate with management and team members to uphold brand standards and service excellence
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bartending experience in upscale or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktail techniques (e.g., fat-washing, infusions, clarification, etc.)
- Extensive understanding of premium spirits, wine, and flavor profiles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- TIPS or equivalent alcohol certification preferred
- Thrives in a fast-paced, upscale bar or lounge setting
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
- Mixologists preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing cocktail menus or beverage programs
- Familiarity with luxury service standards and guest engagement
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and presentation
- Basic knowledge of bar costing and profitability
