Position Summary:

Provides world class guest service in our restaurants, taking drink orders, serving alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages to guests, and taking payment for purchases.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
Interacting with our guests to ensure they have a positive experience.
Fills drink order per the restaurant recipes and standards.
Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions.
Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures.
Sets up and breaks down assigned bar in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Responsible for the handling all payment methods.
Maintains sanitation and safety standards in assigned work area.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
