Bartender (Open/Close)

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bartender (Open/Close) to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages with precision and flair, taking orders and bussing tables ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Open and close the bar area efficiently, ensuring all setup and cleanup procedures are completed thoroughly.
• Manage cash handling, Toast transactions and ensure accurate billing for all orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, offering recommendations, and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy hours or special events.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items, taking orders, bussing tables.
• Follow all food handling protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency with Toast POS system or other such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy shifts seamlessly.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or bar environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Previous restaurant experience with retail math, cashiering, catering, or food industry roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards in brewing or food service environments enhances your suitability for this role.
