Backspin Social is an upscale sports bar offering indoor golf simulators and a bar and lounge. We are family-owned and founded in Wilmington, NC, and we strive to create a professional, customer-centric, and social environment for our patrons and employees. We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our team.

On the operational side of the house, we are looking for someone with experience bartending and is comfortable with what that role entails. Specific responsibilities include:

• Mix & prepare cocktails, mocktails, and other drinks;
• Take initiative in learning menu options and make recommendations to customers;
• Support the Bar Manager / Lead Bartender in timely restocks and preps;
• Help ensure a positive customer experience through excellent customer service, positive attitude, and prompt service;
• Communicate proactively with Bar Manager / Lead Bartender and owners about issues or concerns;
• Check IDs and ensure legal drinking age;
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;

Experience:

• 2+ years of bartending experience;
• Point-of-sale proficiency;
• Good references;
• Bonus points if you know your way around a golf course!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $10.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
