Bartender - Part Time

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote sales and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
• Monitor guest behavior to uphold safety standards and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food and managing take out orders
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to deliver prompt service while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Heartland POS is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling, cashiering, and basic math accurately.
• Experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse clientele confidently and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
