Bartender (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes or customer requests
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Take orders, handle cash or card payments, and operate POS systems
• Interact with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol-serving regulations
• Occasionally create or innovate cocktail recipes (especially for mixologists)

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Basic math for handling cash and measurements
• Physical stamina (standing long hours, lifting bottles, cleaning)
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and alcohol-serving laws

Work Environment

• Bars, pubs, restaurants, hotels, resorts, or event venues
• Can involve night shifts, weekends, and busy periods
• Indoor environments, often crowded or noisy
