Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, efficiently processing transactions with cash handling and retail math skills.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and recommending drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization during busy hours.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving appetizers or snacks from the kitchen to ensure timely delivery.
• Support catering or banquet events by setting up bars, serving drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction in various settings such as nightclubs or private events.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender or bar server in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations.
• Experience in fine dining settings or banquet environments is a plus; familiarity with catering events enhances versatility.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and service.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing are essential for success in this role.
