Bartender/Barista

Overall expectations:

• Provide tap room service
• Work with limited supervision
• Use appropriate standards of cleanliness to ensure guest safety
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in accordance with existing policies and procedures
• Behave in a cautious manner to avoid cuts, spills, contamination or inappropriate exposure to dirt, foreign particles, bacteria and other hazards
• Assist with coffee drink production duties (i.e. Syrups, stocking, espresso dial in, etc)
• Have some experience in coffee service and/or bartending service
• Have a Bartending license in Brookfield or be willing to obtain one
• 18 years of age or older

Functional tasks

• Provide polite and timely customer service
• Produce and serve drinks to order
• Stock products
• Maintain cleanliness/organization of taproom and bathrooms
• Maintain/clean coffee equipment
• Provide compliant, responsible beer service
• Accurate and appropriate cash handling
• Keep informed on coffees/beers being served
• Share information about products with customers in open and inviting manner

Essential job functions

• Ability to communicate verbally in English
• Ability to read English
• Consistent, timely attendance
• Understanding of metric system of measurement
• Squat, kneel, climb ladders or step stools as needed
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals
• Stand up to 12 hours at a time
• Lift up to 50 lbs to chest level and up to 30 lbs overhead
