Bartender/Mixologist at InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay

InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is seeking a talented and passionate Bartender / Mixologist to join our Food & Beverage team and deliver exceptional beverage experiences in line with InterContinental brand values and Forbes luxury standards.

This role is essential in creating memorable guest experiences through expertly crafted beverages, refined presentation, and engaging service. The Bartender / Mixologist plays a key role in maintaining bar standards, ensuring quality and consistency, and contributing to the overall success of the Food & Beverage operation.

Located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay, the property features 176 luxury serviced residences. As a Bartender / Mixologist, your creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail will directly enhance guest satisfaction and elevate the bar experience within our luxury environment.

Your Day-to-Day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and brand guidelines
• Create signature cocktails and provide personalized beverage recommendations to guests
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner to enhance their overall experience

Bar Operations & Setup

• Set up and maintain bar/counter stations before, during, and after service
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of beverages and ingredients
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of replenishment needs
• Ensure all bar equipment and tools are clean, functional, and well-maintained

Quality, Hygiene & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and local regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Comply with hotel health, safety, and sanitation policies

Guest Experience & Team Collaboration

• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, luxury-level service
• Handle guest feedback and special requests professionally and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with service staff, kitchen team, and supervisors
• Participate in training sessions, briefings, and beverage innovation initiatives

What We Need from You

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a hotel, high-end restaurant, or luxury venue
• Experience in luxury hospitality is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage trends

Technical & Beverage Skills

• Skilled in cocktail preparation, mixology techniques, and creative presentation
• Knowledge of bar inventory control and stock management
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and local regulations
• Ability to multitask efficiently during busy service periods

Education

• Certification in Bartending or Mixology is an advantage
• Hospitality or Food & Beverage qualification preferred
• High School Diploma/ Matric Certificate
