Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing and sales recording
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and alcohol service regulations
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours such as nightlife events or banquet functions

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Experience with serving at catering events or in the food industry is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days
