Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, flair, and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Take orders accurately using POS systems ensuring seamless transactions and efficient service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and organization skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar counters, tables, and food handling stations in compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle cashing out guests accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Assist with food service duties during busy periods, including serving food at fine dining or banquet events, catering functions, or nightclub settings.
  • Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring all beverages are prepared responsibly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours or special events like banquets or private parties.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant, bar, nightclub, or banquet environment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is essential for efficient order processing.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced settings within the food industry or hospitality sector.
  • Experience in fine dining establishments or catering environments enhances your ability to meet diverse guest expectations.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is required to ensure guest safety and compliance.
  • Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining high service standards.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing during transactions.

Pay: $9.60 - $30.00 per hour
