Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience by preparing and serving beverages and food, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role plays a key part in delivering a memorable atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Engage with guests, make recommendations, and create a fun, inviting environment
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and equipment
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain an accurate register
• Restock bar inventory and assist with inventory and ordering as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with front desk and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of local or craft beverages
• Experience with POS systems
• Outgoing personality with a team-first attitude

Physical & Functional Requirements

• Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Strength: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects (up to 25–50 lbs)
• Flexibility: Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
• Mobility: Navigate large areas and various floor types
• Dexterity: Use of hands and fingers for cleaning tools and equipment
• Vision: Must be able to spot cleanliness details and safety hazards
• Repetitive Motions: Includes tasks like sweeping, mopping, and dusting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
